Suspension advice needed

Dissenting opinion here. I run Bilstein HD's and H&R springs and feel that even on the relatively poor condition California roads they provide a reasonably good ride. Qualifier to the foregoing is that you need to have a competent shop handle both the installation and tuning.
Unless you a) track your car and b) have an intelligent plan to tune your suspension installing an adjustable setup on your car gives you plenty of feelgood currency but in actuality little practical use IMHO - IOW I don't think you would change adjustable settings much.
It sounds like you want a softer ride (no shame in that BTW) - I suggest you try and ride / drive a factory-spec vehicle and decide whether the ride is worth the somewhat unattractive stance.
