First rights of refusal on future sales. Free lunch when he visits CT in THE BOSS. Updated pictures over time. Promise to keep her garaged in an air temp controlled environment. Divorce courts have seen easier negotiations.

first thought that came to mind, with a twist...
why do divorce's and good 993's cost so much?
CAUSE THRY'RE WORTH IT!
Congrat's Bart! Only question, what is there left to tinker with with this car? The slope show's no mercy.

Thanks Joe. I passed on two very low mileage C2S cars for this one. Both had PPI issues that I just couldn't get past. This car treated me well for 10,000+ miles in the past....I'm looking forward to the next 10K

Congrats Bart! What was the issue with the Silver 14,000 mile CA car? It was nearly identical to the one that I sold...

there was a RMS leak that I could have probably accepted but the paint work on the rear end was hard to get past given the seller who was also the original owner, claimed no knowledge of.

ahhhhhhhhhh...too much money for a car with paintwork. I think you made the right choice!

Ian, I can't thank you enough for selling this car back to me! It now has almost 600 more miles on it since you last watched that phat azz zip down I95 South....I was 1/2 expecting to have BOSS 302 running me out of the passing lane.

This was a real deja vu for me. I had a '98 C2S that I bought from the original owner, the dealer we had leased/bought many Audis from. When I had the car up for sale in '05, a gentleman came over to see it with a paint meter. He pronounced the right rear quarter panel had been repainted and showed me the thicker readings. I immediately contacted the original owner who swore he had had no paint work and his dealership had received the car from PCNA (we happened to be there picking up an A6 the day it arrived). I believe he was being truthful with me. So, did some of these cars get "extra" paint or Could they have been damaged and repaired at the factory before shipping without any disclosure to the dealer? I have always wondered about that. Sorry if this is a highjack...
