Just checking, Your OP says narrowbody, but your sig. says turbo...

Factory offsets are F52mm, R65mm narrowbody
F52mm, R40mm widebody
both for 18" wheels

Bill, we have been over this before. One thing not to forget is that these cars are individuals, meaning that the wheels wells are not identical on all cars. Also on the same car the clearance varies from one side to the other.

I run 245/40/18 PS2s (which are wide for their size) on BBS e88 9x18 ET46. Rear is 315/30/18 PS2s on BBS e88 12x18 ET39. Fenders are rolled all around, ride height is RUF spec. which I think is around RS height or a bit lower. I use coilovers Bilstein PSS9s. The wheels and tires on my car sits flush and it looks very nice/aggressive. No rubbing at all, but as I said the endges of my fenders are rolled.

Before I had 225/40/18 Contis on speedlines 9x18 ET40 with more room to go for a wider tire.

DM993TT on this board has a 9,5x18 front wheel on his turbo with stock bodywork and rolled fenders. He runs 275/35/18 Hoosiers and his car is slammed, lower than mine. Before he had 265/35/18 MPCS on the same front wheel. I have sent him a PM as I want to know the offset of his front wheels (they are also BBS e88s). His tires rub on the inside of the fender liner at full lock, so definately not ideal but it works on the track. Maybe he will chime in later.

So if you want a "no issues" fit then go with stock wheel widths and tire sizes but you can definately squeeze more rubber and wider wheels in there, as many people (including myself) have done.

and I am sure will again

as I said I used 9ET50 front and know how close the tire was to the lip on my car, a lower ET which moves the wheel further out would not work at all, a wider tire on the 9 ET50 would not work either.

if the really aggressive low ET wheels work for you, great, but you do a disservice by advising others to emulate your choice. It is not a no risk fitment.

Some guys understand the fitment process and the trade offs involved and can successfully take it through to a satisfactory conclusion, but most do not and will almost inevitably end up being unhappy w/ the result.

Factory fits are somewhat conservative and there is some room for deviation but the further from factory that one goes the greater the risk of a poor fit.

which pretty much says just that, it's not a no risk fitment but it can be possible on some cars.

I totally agree with this.

I'd also like to add that one has to ask oneself why do I want an extra 10mm wider front tires? Most times it won't make any difference and if you decide to mess with the factory offset and tire widths, you should also be aware of the consequenses, that you might end up with a poor fit and have to order new wheels and tires. IMHO it's not worth the risk for a street car but if you have access to wider wheels and tires, by all means try them out before you order.

Another issue not mentioned is that in moving the center-line of the front wheels one is also changing the scrub radius.

scrub radius primarily affects 2 things
1) steering kickback
2) ABS function

Sweet... Don't even have the car yet, and upgrading already!
Sounds like an awesome car, I'll keep an eye out @RR4 (assuming you're going)

The front will be just fine...

The rear wheel will stick out an additional .430"/11mm, from a 10" ET65 wheel.

Depends on tire choice and and aspect ratio. Id say nothing larger than a 265 aspect ratio on the tire. Still would be close...but I say take a shot

Is your car lowered ?
