No affiliation; just thought it was a good find if all checks out.

Been talking with the dealer... the targa top does not operate... said he had a deposit from CA.. said the top-end and clutch was done.....

Did a quick search of the dealer , other forums have said they use the ploy of having a deposit from a buyer in CA...etc...also tried contacting the mechanic shop that did the work... no go....... I decided to pass

I've looked at cars there before. Fast and loose dealer. Lots of cars that look good with accidents in their histories. Carfax will be your friend.

I have looked at that car twice. Not only does the targa top not work, but the sunscreen does not either. Test drove it on a 90 degree day! Drivers' seat is beat, and the foglamps are out. The wheels are aftermarket chrome, and the chrome is pealing off exposing the rusty steel underneath. They were clever about the photos; showing the one good wheel, not clear shot of seat, no mention of top(s) etc. It does have mechanical records, shows the top was worked on in '06 for around $3600. Perhaps it is just an electrical problem?
