Well, lookie what I found. OK, I exaggerated on the diameter-it's only 5/16". But, what it lacks in girth, it makes up for in length. 2 1/2" exposed. It has some kind of head buried in the tire, as I can't pull or thread it out.

Damn, I had a least 175 miles left on the rear tires.

OH well, an excuse to put her on the lift for a look around, and I get to see how easy it is to replace a RaceDeck tile.

Hey, your lift ramps look really slick. Did you laminate 2x4s vertically? Probably very strong...

They are indeed 2X4's that are through-bolted with allthread.

looking great!! just finished up the M033 and Bilstein HD install a couple weeks ago...its like a new car now. You will love the results.

I would also have your rim checked when you peel off your tire. I had a friend have a bolt like that went through the tire and through the rim as well...

That was already #1 on my list, although I'm encouraged that the exterior of the wheel looks fine. That would be the ultimate reason to say "honey, I HAVE to get new wheels.
