Eurotrip 2011!

I have been fortunate enough to do this the past few years, due to my German brother from another mother in Stuttgart. I will be flying into STR next week and I will copilot his car with him through our little Alpine tour.

We will leave from Stuttgart, go up through Switzerland (I know we plan to go close to Lugano and to St Gotthard), over into Italy (we will be here most of the time, in the passes around Lago De Garda), then back up through Austria into Germany.

It's pretty loosely scheduled and a small group, so we have freedom to change our route however we feel. :)

Before I leave, we will tour the Porsche museum, possibly the Mercedes museum and probably go visit vintage racecar builder and friend Karl Hloch. Of course, much good food and beer will be consumed and pics will be available for posting upon my return ;)

If any Euro listers think you may be close to the route and would like to ride a couple passos with us, PM or email me your phone number. :biggulp:

See ya soon, friends! :bigbye:

If you find yourself near Milano, for €45 you can drive on Monza on open track days. :-)

Bart! You must visit the little town Berchtesgaden in the absolute south of Germany, close to the Austrian border and take a look at the Eaglesnest (The Kehlsteinhaus --> Hitlers Tea house).
The scenery surrounding the Eaglesnest is beautiful, but it's hard to imagine the horrible fate of the little town during WW2...

Have a great trip, we visit the alps regulary, sadly not this summer, you will not be disappointed!

Regards

Jonas from Sweden (also with a Aventura Green 993 with My02's)
