Just getting back from the Vaterland
I just got back from a wonderful three week vacation in Europe and was able to do the Porsche museum. I also saw a 993 RS/CS covered in the Porsche parking garage and three other 993 cars in the parking lot.
I wish the RS/CS hadn't been completely covered.
Anyway, here's a few pictures of the auto related stuff. I'll save the Bimmer stuff for the other forum.

Dude. Awesome pictures. Did the same trip in 07. new Museum wasnt built then. It was our rental we took around the Ring tho. Alot of fun. Le Mans was a blast too.
One question. How do you walk in those jeans that look like they have run down your leg and are trying to escape over your loafers?
Cute Fiance too!
:-)
Cheers

Great pics! I'm headed out Monday! We will tour the museum for the first time as well. I tried to schedule a factory tour, but I waited too late and let them fill up . I haven't gotten to do the Ring yet - need to sort that out. Did you get to drive any moutain passes?

Oddly, my favorite pic is the silver 993 parked outside...
I'll need to file these pics for when I need to go into hard sell mode with wifey on the Museum and Ring trip. Having "other girls" in the photos is extremely helpful to prove that it's not a "nerdy guys' trip"!

Took my trip 2 years ago to visit the city where my father was born and visited all 3 museums. I have a bunch of very similar photos (you look like you could be my brother, but then again so did a lot of Germans).
Coincidentally I also own a 2001 Boxster and a C2. And a Toyota truck.

AWESOME!!!
I'm headed to Stuttgart and a factory tour tomorrow and can't wait. I was actually at the Nurburgring on Friday and took a picture in front of the same sign. But I wasn't so lucky to drive it as the 24 hr race was in full swing. Thanks for the great pics, I'll hope to snap some similar ones soon.

We rented a Mini Cooper in Vienna and did our fair share of driving. I had my 15 year high school reunion the first weekend in Vienna then we spent the rest of our time in Garmisch and did various day trips from Bavaria. My favorite stretch of road is between Garmisch and Innsbruck.
My pants were a little saggy due to me loosing weight and carrying so much junk in my pockets.
I too was impressed on how small the 917's were and I doubt I could fit in one, but I'd sure try

QUESTION. I (wife and I) am headed for Europe in September for 3 weeks. The Porsche factory tour, Porsche museum as well as Mercedes and BMW tours are a must do. How soon and how do I make reservations to see these and how do I do it?
