Maybe I can help to get back on the original route with 2 questions I have.
Does the factory option sticker under the hood reflect the M495 option? I had 2 x 2S so far and both
did not have it listed there.
Next question is: what does the " Typ/Type 993 340" mean, I mean actually what is "340"?
I did the search on both and could not find anything so far (Really !!!)

There are two different codes for the same designation
One is internal FACTORY CODE for vehicle assembly and after sales repair

One is commercial for sales and spare parts

As explained above, 340 is the factory code

this is why a membership to this forum is not worth it.....
