Couple of quick questions about whether 964 parts work on our cars:

I think I already answered the first one myself. I looked it up in the PET and the fuse box cover in the trunk has a 964 part number, so I am assuming it does.

The second I was going to ask about was the 964 trunk carpet. I know there is some difference, but if I got a 964 carpet with the intention of modifying it in the direction of an RS piece, how well would that work?

Most of the parts on our relics seem to be interchangeable with those from 60's-era Porsches.

False economy to get a 964 door seal though. They are quite a bit cheaper, but have some leakage issues; the proper 993 rubber seal was modified to improve performance and is apparently often retro fitted to 964s.

A 964 C2 trunk carpet may fit, a C4 one wont. Fuse box lid you have spot on!

Also I believe the 964 carpet is secured with Snaps and the 993 carpet is secured with round velcro tabs

My 993 has some snaps and some Velcro.

Yes, all 993's are the same, its the 964 that had 2 types, but I doubt if the poppers or velcro from a 964 would line up with a 993
