Hello very nice example to say the least,is that by any chance the GT2 from "Monte Carlo"? There was
at one time maybe three years ago a fellow rennlist member Carlo something or other(who resided in the principality that owned a similar color and spec GT) ,possibly your unaware if it were
purchased through a broker?

It's not something I can remember ever seeing in the US before - a 993 GT2 (Clone). He had just gotten it and had temp tags on it. Had the sunroof taken out and the roof repaired as if it was never there. It was hard to take your eyes off of.

Hi thanks. No this car has not been out in Monte Carlo that I know of, it has been in the UK for a long time as far as I know.

From driving point of view the best thing to say is the car requires attention! The power and delivery are not an issue at all as I am used to high power RWD cars but you have work with the turbos to make good progress, anticipate the boost, and use the torque. We are investigating the suspension as it is fairly wayward on bumpy back roads especially under braking and over bumps and the dampers or springs will need some further inspection to see where they are. The steering and turn in are amazing and the challenge of driving a car like this is exactly what I love about it, I find modern cars too good for road use and not interactive enough.

Once in a while Auto Salon Singen would have one.

http://www.autosalon-singen.de/en/startmix.html

Point mouse at OUR VEHICLES. Click PICTURE ARCHIVE. Then click Porsche crest.
Scroll down the list and find 993 GT2. Click and wait 10 seconds for it to load images.

A lot of pictures.

Steve-- Greatly appreciate the pix We have a small country when it comes to gorgeous black GT2-looks here in the US.
Thanks to this forum, I've been lucky to hang out with two RLers crazy enough to build such beautiful black beasts.

Thanks alot that means a great deal coming from someone with a stable such as yours!
Uhmm as to specs I could go on for days but the short version is 993TT '96 with sunroof deleted,GT2 uprights , full Motorsport RSR monoballed heavy duty struts front and rear, adjustable heim joint drop links,RSR style adj sways front and back, Porsche Motorsport centrelock hubs , Speedline Magnesium three piece 10.5 and 12.75x 18 Mich PS 2, front wheel drive removed.
leather recaro Poles, Heigo adj roll bar blah blah blah
motor is stock but have k24's and S ECU scheduled to be installed .
Dont let me hijack your thread this is what we go through in the US to get
what is readily available to you guys .
