Rarely see recent pics of GT2s. I love the steering wheel, roll cage, seat and the whole interior. A real GT2 is something to look at. TFS.

My oh my... that's sick, the good part of sick. Yeah, real sick, in a great way. LOVE IT!!!

I went to a "Maryland Rennlist Meet and Drive" in my area a month or so ago and a gentleman that usually shows up in a different car brought a 993 GT2 "clone". I believe that's what it would be called. At least, that's what another gentleman that was there called it.

This shot was taken by Nathan who drives a 997 who was there... It's not something I can remember ever seeing in the US before - a 993 GT2 (Clone). He had just gotten it and had temp tags on it. Had the sunroof taken out and the roof repaired as if it was never there. It was hard to take your eyes off of.

Sweet mother mercy...

LUSTTTTTTTTTING.......sweet dreams tonight! Say, couldn't a car like that be considered part of a 'retirement' plan...like part of a 'portfolio'? Wonder what my 'wealth management' guy would say...

Wait, I know, "you have to be 'wealthy' to invest in one of those silly man..." Oh yea. Minor point.

Still, nice to dream...

Awesomeness... 993 GT2 really is one of the true high points in Porsche history.

Congrats!

I don't believe so. Harris' car was Arctic Silver instead of Polar, RHD, and had airbag(s) option. Also, from memory, his car was a "P" registration meaning it was registered between August 1st 1996 and July 31st 1997.

Wonderful car! Congratulations!

We actually have one in the valley where I live, even though it is almost 6 hours from the nearest track.
(Correction -- approximately 4 hours from the nearest track in a 993 GT2)
