It's a great color...and it has nothing to do with "green." Think of an oil slick.

Think of a Brad Penn oil slick :D

The color changes depending on the light. Rich green to a dark slate.
Ask me how I know:thumbup:

Emerald,
I've been meaning to ask, "How do you know?"

I agree. The light plays magic with the color. I own one too and the reviews are always  from the car shows and driving events I attend. Many Porsche owners I have met at these events rarely see aventurine green. At least that has been my experiences in the Atlanta, GA and NC area.

I have one in Philadelphia area - if you are in the area - the color is difficult to describe, must be seen.

I have one and live in the DC area. My folks live in Annapolis and I visit down their from time to time. I'll let you know when I plan on visiting the area again. PM me your info.

FYI, and to make searching the archives possibly a bit easier moving forward, the color is "adventurine green".

Looks like my bad. Maybe I had a senior moment or maybe I've seen it mispelled so many times that the wrong spelling got incorporated in my head. I stand corrected! :banghead:

95 Aventurine Green 993. It's a gray/green but as others have mentioned it depends on the way the sun hits it. It looks sharp under the right conditions.
