Are 964 and 993 carpets the same?
On my list of things to do is change the carpet to rs style, I have seen them for sale for the 964 (app biz) and read that somewhere else that the carpets are the same 993-964. Is this true?
Thanks
If not true where is a good source for 993 carpet.
Thanks
Anthony
Ps. Joining rennlist is much higher up my list than the carpet, i will sign up in the next day or so I would like to get rid of the "user" after my name.

I used the appbiz RS carpet in my 993 and it fit great. Takes a while to get all the pieces figured out but take your time and lay it all out in the car before you start to glue everything in.
If you need any help give me a pm since I have done it. Its not too bad at all.

Ok, will do, I actually put an app biz rs carpet kit in my old 911sc, so I feel pretty comfortable doing it again, well more comfortable doing this than I did putting the car on jack stands.

question...Is the RS carpet just lighter weight than a std carpet? Working on a rear seat delete which will entail new carpeting. Would like to change all the current gray carpeting to black anyway
Since the RS is a coupe, could there be fitting issues in a cab??
TIA

Don't know too much about doing the work on a 993 I would advise against using the perlon carpet, that's what I used in my 911, it's very thin, light and Moldable but it wears out very quickly and mine became discolored (grey turned black, strangely) it may be good for a race car but not a driver.
