SWA is no longer a low cost carrier. AA has a "sale" on now, I believe. I've purchased a few flights the last day or so, that are more reasonable than they have been of late.

Thanks Ed. I'll look into AA. United has been cheaper too and we have lots of miles. might look into cashing a few of those in. We've been saving them for a trip to Croatia maybe next year.....

I justed called Hyatt to add my platinum member number to my reservation. They are already full for that weekend. Glad I jumped on this early.

I just talked to a friend that lives in Monterey and he told us all not to panic. Town will be crowded, but not as crowded as it is for the August Hysterical week events. After all Rennnsport it is ONLY about Porsches. I know what he means, but it made me laugh none the less, especially since he is the epitome of a Porsche person.

Y'all have lots of friends, but this one came to mind first...
