I am thankful that I have an aversion to giant wings on the rears of 911s.

I'm sure its performance is otherworldly, but that is one of the last color combos that I would choose (no offense to all of the 'Listers who have black cars with black wheels).

Ha. Too funny. IIRC, of the 5 cars in the showroom, they had a Cayman, 2 Cayennes, a turbo Panamera and one 911. I suppose that's good sampling of the offerings but a lot of high dollar 911s were left in the elements. 911 GTS, Tubro Cab etc...

Sorry for crappy cell phone pics and it was raining and overcast in NJ yesterday.

looks ho hum boring in black IMO.
good thing it's way outta my price ability so i don't have to consider owning such an "ugly" car.

I agree, and I love black.
GT2RS needs to be something a little louder, more vibrant.
No reason to try and be "stealth" or inconspicuous in an RS

Mark Webbah likes them

http://www.autoblog.com/2011/02/23/v...he-911-gt2-rs/

I HATE LEDs, I like their brightness and fast illumination, but they should be softened with diffusers that blend the 10,000 points of light into a line or round diffused display. I despise Audi for starting this bullsh*t where every manufacturer has to have a string of not-diffused LEDs in their headlight clusters

I agree and felt/hoped they were/are a passing fad. But according to automotive lighting designers it's not just about looks and longevity but also about safety. And I will have to admit that they make the car more noticeable on the roads.

I like the LEDs on 911s, A4s, and A6s. But they look horrible on the Q5 and Q7, and are just plain awful on the Range Rover.

Didn't know Webber was allowed to drive anything but a Clio, Twingo, or Espace. Cool!
