Glad you got it repaired. I'm sure it looks good - you won't have to mess with it again. Here's a picture of mine.

Beautiful. That looks really clean. Mine is pretty clean as well...but not as clean as that. Once it dries I will have to exacto away any excess, but it already looks a lot better. I will let it dry overnight before taking out the cardboard.

OK, took out the cardboard this morning. Much improved. But there is still yellow-ish residue from the old glue. The sound pad must have 'shrunk' a bit over the years. What can I do to remove the excess old glue?
