Anybody make a harness bar for 993?

what are people using for seats? Recaros?

looking at dressing a c4s for track days.

I wish to keep it as original OEM as possible. (CUP car seats, harness or Clubsport parts preferably)

Brey Kraus used to make a harness truss, It will be difficult to find oem seats, and harnesses that haven't expired.

There are lots of good seats out there, the concern depending on you physique is the way the harness passes through the seat harness holes, many of the available seats have smallish holes which limit the range of shoulder heights that they can accommodate.

It's best to try a prospective seat and besides fanny fit check the fetch of the shoulder harness to it's termination.

wrt to harnesses, I like the Schroth Hybrid 2 Hans, but again try different harnesses to see what suits, Schroth does supply the GT3 harnesses.

That's easy.

996 GT3 seats, Brey Karause brackets, Schroth harnesses, DAS bar. Done.

I went with Sparco EVO 2 Plus seat, Brey Krause Truss and Sub Mount, Simpson 6 point harness.

Now, I can not close the door - a bump in first gear helps

and I need a twig to change the radio station....

Brey-Krause harness bar, Schroth 6 point harness, Recaro Pole Postitions here. Install on the harness/harness bar is around 15 minutes. Uninstall about 5 minutes more (harnesses are secured with eye bolts in the floor). Couldn't be happier.
