Do I recall correctly there is a website where you can track the shipping of your car?

When I had my car shipped, for lack of options, I chose ebay's shipper. Dependable Auto Shippers (DAS) had a GPS tracker on their rig which allowed it to be tracked from FL. to CA.

In retrospect, I would have opted to pay a little more and have it either shipped in a covered rig or at the very least shipped with being on the top level of the rig so nothing drips on the car from above..

I have to admit, it was exciting to watch it cross country. It would be especially interesting now with the way the severe weather has been lately.

I've shipped several cars using DAS and they provide a good tracking system. Not sure how it is with other companies.

Oops, I should have been clearer, I meant a new factory car about to go on the ship in Germany.
