Default Quick question - Main seal

When inserting new main crankshaft/engine seal how far does it go in? Should it be flush around the outside diameter or protruding out a smidgen?

On other brands I've performed this on, they were driven in flush.

Measure the depth and the seal.

Edited to add: 2 mm below the flange of the crankcase...according to the Porsche manual.
