'96 C4S in PTS Ferrari "Fly Yellow" just purchased from Road Scholars
Hello. I didn't purchase the car myself but someone very close to me is patiently awaiting its arrival any day here in St.Louis. He purchased it from Road Scholars in NC and couldn't be more pleased with the transaction so far.
I am just wondering if any previous owners or people that know about the car could chime in. I am pretty certain the car used to have a set of black 18" on it and think I have seen it for sale over the years. It seems there were a few Ferrari Fly Yellow Carrera 4S built, curious to know if anyone knows more specific data. This car has 31,000 miles on it, Black Supple w/Head Crests, Big Chrome Exhause tips etc. I wll post pics when I can see it. |
Don't have any information on the car but Road Scholars come up with the most low mile cars I have ever seen! I have talked to them before and was impressed with the way they conduct business.

Yes, they sure seem to be among a select few specialists that end up with the best of the best on a pretty consistant basis.

Except for the fact that they don't list prices...not very shall we say, "Rennlist like." :to_order: Maybe it's just me...but that's my preference. Sloan, Truspeed, Holt and most others post the asking price. Victory doesn't.

Not to go OT but Holt's cars (at least in their photos), don't equate to their premium pricing. My 10 yr. old takes better pictures and the detailing is pretty non existent.
I arranged the visit on a Saturday, and told him I was simply a tire kicker. He was very gracious, spent a fair amount of time with me talking all about the cars. Honestly, what disappointed me the most, surprised me the most...was the condition of the facility. The cars were packed in so tight, you couldn't even walk between and around them. Most cars were very dusty/dirty, and the lighting was beyond pathetic. While I did see many color combo's, I left very disappointed. On the bright side, a private hauler was out front loading a RSA, and he had Ralph Lauren's 959 on board also. yea, I touched it! |
Could it be Robert & JoAnne's (RJT) old C4S? It was Speed Yellow with Black twists if I recall correctly. I think they may have sold it in Arkansas about 1.5 yrs ago.
