A bunch of us from the forum had dinner with him at Half Moon Bay Distillery a couple of years ago when he was out here with the Rangers for a series against the A's.

C.J. no longer has a 993 since he got rid of his Andial. I believe he now has a black CGT and a 997 GT3 RS and probably hangs out on that and the racing forums.
Saw him at RAC Performance, formerly Ruf, during the season. He's a really nice guy - no pretension or ego - except in regards to his driving ability. (just kidding)

He'll probably grimace if he reads this, but about 3 years ago when he was just getting into the racing thing he rides BART out to near where my shop is to have lunch/chat about racing. I've dealt with a few athletes when I had shops, and honestly most have been really nice. But CJ is a true enthusiast. Come a long way, and I'm sure it'll go much further when the baseball part of his life ends.

Very approachable and a class act. A small group of us from this forum did a drive through the hill country a couple years ago when he had just driven back from Florida with his RS. So we broke in his RS nicely! Very much an enthusiast. Congrats to CJ on his Thunderhill performance!!
