Completely agree. More press = more possible sales = more $$$ = more development.

They've sure hit the mark in the looks department.

Thanks JP!
..My Pleasure, believe me! I've smiled so much today, my face hurts.... BTW, the silver 'S' just stopped me in my tracks. I'd never seen the special silver paint color they used on the wheels for that car in person before. Wow! And, sadly, at less than 2000 miles on the clock, needing chain tensioner cover gaskets and RMS replaced from lack of use .. Hopefully the newest owner will remedy that situation ..

Yes, Rob and team are busy 'tweaking' the suspension, intake management and exhaust to bring the car to it's potential. I asked if they needed a 'Tester' between takes ....

As with most everything in the car, I believe it was custom made for Singer, so you would get one to the right of the speedometer when your $300,000 check cleared ....

Sadly, some of us remember when those black plates would have been on nearly all of the cars in the shop...........

(Sorry, I'm in the minority that can't get his head around over-the-top torsion bar chassis cars. Life's moved on, and in my old age power steering and a cushy ride that can still outperform the old platform in a package I can still work on wins.)

That burnt orange Singer 991 is droolworthy.

That black chin spoiler reminds me of the one I had on my Mk1 GTI.... the car I miss the most.

Not sure about the Kermit version, but then I'm not a fan of Green. Would love to see a Riv Blue or Mex Blue finish......

Well ... I love it too, but I was told by the owner of the shop that is working on the green car that this car, being the first prototype, is what they are stripping down and using as the basis for the white car, number 003. I guess in the end, it had served it's purpose and was lacking in many of the engineering refinements that resulted from it's hard work as a test bed. I've heard, from the people who were lucky enough to have seen it in person or better yet, had driven it, that it was "pretty rough", but you know, I'm a sucker for a good pole dancer and I sure as heck wouldn't kick that car out of my garage for dripping a little oil here and there. I would have gladly taken her in as a toss off, warts and all ....
