I was looking for a dark color when I bought mine. I had no idea that it was arena red until I'd had it for a few months and learned a thing or two about what I had purchased.

That picture is so good, so right...I vote that this thread be closed due to overwhelming evidence that Arena Red can and will hold it's value...monetary and otherwise! Wow...is that yours Nick?

I was after a Guards Red 993 when I began looking. I fell in love with Arena Red when I saw my car for the first time.

The look of AR under low light conditions is my favorite, absolutely stunning!

AR and all stock color 993s, like a fine wine should always appreciate in value and desireability.

I totally agree. I'd like a 993 in every colour. Having said that, I'd also agree with not buying a car in a colour you aren't happy with.

Resale? As these cars age (hard to stop), condition will likely dictate why a car sells more than colour.

Arena red on a red interior. That's the schizz. Like an old Corvette.

AR is pretty, but I too like that drab olive matt...

With apologies to Sir Ernest Shackleton: "There are no bad colors, just inappropriate owners".

You can't go wrong with Arena Red!!!!!!

Here is my car during the repaint after the roof was crushed in. This car took 1st place in 2010 Porsche parade Concours de Elegance for Performance Touring class.

Note the rain gutter delete. The beauty is in the curves!!!!!!

I also agree that Arena Red is a very desirable color.
