I thought that was your car that I posted here. I wasn't 100% sure, but I knew I had seen it somewhere (I found the pic on the net.) Beautiful color combo.

Wheels arrived at the shop...picking up tommorow morning. It is going to be a LONG winter!
Eric at Supreme Power was great to deal with on this transaction and if you are looking for wheels or parts I think he would be a reliable source as well. (NO affiliation, just good service at a good price).
I have a couple of months to consider all the color options, etc. Thanks for all the pictures and suggestions. Picts will come, when mounted.

Default VOTE FOR SILVER OR GOLD

Crude photoshop but trying to decide. I know in the we small hours of the night and day I will have to decide. But what do other 993 owners think?
Silver LMs or Gold LMs? Im leaning towards....

Gold. Looks very nice on AR and is very complimentary to your Cashmere interior.

Are they done yet? How about now? And where's the damn pics?!?!?!

I agree that the gold and AR/cashmere mix look really good. But the silver looks good, too. Gold LMs on a 964/993 is somewhat expected (classic old school look) and so I think the silver is almost more out of the ordinary because of that. My call would be silver for now. Maybe go gold later when you need new tires (?)

Well that is NOT fair! Invoking Spanau Ballet is like extrordinary rendition...it, like waterboarding can make you confess to things you did not or should not do...like painting your wheels GOLD!!!!!
So perfect, thanks for the vote and the laugh. (I have to admit I kind of liked it but don't tell...)

I prefer the silver a bit more and think that gold is less expected nowadays since it has fallen out of fashion from its heyday in the '70's and '80's. Can't go wrong with either one.

I think the gold works better with AR and especially the interior color. It will stand out as well.... and different is always good.

I love the centers of my LM's!!

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...h/P8270383.jpg

They are a generic silver/grey I chose at my local powder coating store. In certain angles they appear a little darker. I wouldn't recommend gold if you ever want to sell them. I think it limits your market quite a bit. They are pretty easy to disassemble and change color however!

I don't think you can make a wrong choice here. That being said, Mr. Bock's car looks amazing with the gold wheels.
