Bob,

I would suggest you also drive one with an euro tranny. Apparently it makes all the difference and an expensive upgrade.

You beat me to it! I was going to say that it's almost a banning offense.

Hi Bob, hope you and the family are well. Welcome to drive mine next time you're in the area...

As for the 993 models, they are all nice and there's something for everyone.

I'd have to say, what strikes me most is that considering how similar all the non-Turbo variants are, there is a significant disparity in availability of top quality examples, perceived desirability, and consequently in market prices.

Good luck

Matt

...if you are up for a 'longer course' you might want to read Adrian Streather's Porsche 993 Essential Companion

Thanks again everyone! I'm now "in the hunt" and I'll let you know if I find something that grabs my attention. So far a 95 with 23k miles but a pretty high price and 700 miles away in Atlanta. Of course distance never stopped me for the right car.

You could have just asked me to drive mine to the office...If I would have known in advance you were on the hunt, I would have brought "Iris" up to the office or I would have traded you my car for your TT for the weekend

Post some pics. I still can't believe you did this without telling me. I would have never been able to keep this a secret...
