Best Bluetooth...

My 96 C4S is going to be my daily driver and I need a good bluetooth radio. I need to be able to take business calls without sounding like I'm in a convertable with the top down...Any suggestions? The quality of the cell phone via the bluetooth is the most important thing...It would be nice to bluetooth my Iphone/Ipod, but not essential.

Thanks,

Mark

I use a Motorola T505 Bluetooth Speaker Phone. No wires. Move it from vehicle to vehicle with ease. Works great!

I have a Kenwood 993. Didn't work to well in my Cab with the regular bluetooth & the mic, nobody could hear me...

Bought a Motorola T505, no complaints so far .

Good luck!

I have a BlueAnt portable on the visor. It works great and moves easily from vehicle to vehicle. No wires, long talk and standby, excellent audi quality and no complaints about people not being able to hear or understand me.

+1 on the Pioneer in dash unit...

But I have found no matter what, it is hard to beat the quality of the Jawbone Icon in ear unit, especially for business calls.

I have a bluetooth headset, the Plantronics Voyager Pro (nice small unit). I have been on calls with the windows down and the RPM's up in the 5K range and callers can still hear me fine. The built in noise canceling is excellent.

Where do you guys have your microphone? I have the Pioneer mentioned above, and the temporary location is clipped to the ashtray.

I'm considering either the visor (with some creative wiring to allow mobility of the visor) or steering column - steering column will be tough since adhesive is useless in 107 degree Texas heat and I'm not sure how else to hold it on.

I just got the Kenwood DNX-9960 installed. Mic is up near the sun visor. No real complaints...but everyone hears me accelerate. ::grin::

For ear - Jawbones are the best by far since they use the sound through your head more so than a mic. But they don't fit everyone's ear/face.

I've got a Jabra unit on the sunvisor. It works great, no one can tell I'm on a BT unit. It does pick up the engine sounds at WOT though. I get people asking me: "Are you in a race or something?"

If Plantronics makes a BT unit go for it! I used their lightweight headset when flying for the USAF for many years--they make excellent products.
