Lateral and breaking G's on the track
Had nice track event yesterday. I'm wonderig why breaking G is less than lateral cornering G's:
1994 Porsche 911/993
07.08.2010 17:18
Max Acceleration: 0.62 G
Max Braking: 0.97 G
Max Lateral: 1.03 G
Data: iPhone/Dynolicious

on a street car with street tires I would think it could be pretty equal, but you might not be reaching max breaking, or not long enough to capture depending on device your using. I think for myself as a novice track driver when comparing to an experience track driver I'm way gentler on the breaks even though I THINK I'm using them fully vs. someone experienced. lateral G's I'm more comfortable with. generally Is that an app in your iphone that you are using? what is it and whats your experience with it. Sorry if you already know all this I don't know your experience level.

In order to feel any g forces on the track you need maxium grip that can only be provided by racing slicks or maybe R-compound tires.
With street tires all you do is slide sideways in corners or skid when the brakes are hammered.
