Huntington Concours ***pix***
Saturday we had the annual “Huntington Car Show”, and, thankfully it wasn’t 90+ deg./humid / with thunderstorms (as has been July in general).
As expected, there was a huge turnout, and even showing up at 7:55am (for the 9am start) I only just managed to get a reasonable spot. The show organizers even had to make an announcement that any cars that were not ‘showing’ needed to move ‘kerbside’ (so as to make room). A superb BBQ was set out for ‘brunch’ along with popcorn, soda, etc. Those of us who attend these ‘shows’ know that a lot of your time is spent ‘hanging around’ – so ‘being fed’ definitely helped the demeanor.

P.S. And… ummm… oh yeah, I, umm, managed to take first place in class.
