Default Urgent: does anyone know anything about this 993TT?

Hi all,

I could URGENTLY need your input and/or advice on a 993TT from Southern California.

I'd appreciate any information you may have about this car, its history or any of its owners (?) via PM or email ASAP.

Thanks much!

Default no info here, but...

I'm LOVING that color combo, and the options. The speedo has been changed, yes?

Personalized plate is a hoot too.

Hope you get the info you need.

Best of luck!

The speedo may just have an overlay white/silver face. Its missing the "vdo" at the bottom of the gauge so its aftermarket. Stock would say "vdo" at the bottom of all the gauges. I wouldn't be too concerned about it being an overlay as long as the carfax jives with the mileage.

Would that be a point of concern for you? How does one ascertain the true mileage in this case?

Probably the nicest red interior I've seen especially with the black exterior and carbon pieces. A PPI should give you some indication of whether or not the mileage is close to that recorded. Carfax report and Autocheck should be you first reference point though. Also check the service records and see if the chronology and mileage match. Last but not least talk to the seller in person. Your gut feeling based on his/her responses count for a lot when buying these cars.

No tripmeter and reset button on OBC cars and all US turbos are OBC cars.

Cheers,
Joe

Hey Mike,

I only noticed this because I converted my car to OBC and now have 2 tripmeters - one in the speedo and one in the OBC........

Cheers,
Joe
