FOR SALE 1997 2 owner C4S PRICE LOWERED!
I am posting for a friend and will assist with the sale, so ask away.
Black on tan.
It is a 2 owner car with 64xxx miles. Current owner has owned it since 2000. All records since that time.
Local PPI's welcome
Please correct me (like you need an invitation ) I have made a mistake or missed something.
The good:
Florida car all it's life
Stock, unmolested, well cared for car with relatively low miles. Clean interior and exterior.
Good tires, although they are pirellis upfront and bridgestone in the back.
Hollow Turbo twists.
Turbo S Wing and front lip.
Motorsound filter housing.
Power driver and passenger seats.
Sunroof
Operational Built in Radar of unknown model
Both sets of keys.
Everything works
Tinted windows
The bad:
Car has had the front end repainted prior to current owner buying. Code list is gone. We requested option list from Porsche NA and will post ASAP.
The driver's door is "clicking".
He has smoked in the car...gasp
The hinge cover for both front seats is broken
The bumper cover for the tow hook is gone
No air pump
Small scratch on rear right fender (see pic)
Small damage to driver side wheel.
Need to replace the Hood and engine compartment's struts.
I believe this is it. If I find anything else, I will update.
Asking $36,500.00 OBO

Nice looking car at a good price. The Certificate of Authenticity is available through Porsche North America, takes a couple of weeks and costs around $100. If those are all factory options on there, well worth the $37K, especially if that front end was just a respray.

All the issues? Pretty damn minor, fixable stuff for where a car like this is in the overall scheme of things. Hate to see how you size up your wife as she ages.................................................................... ...............

We are waiting for the info from Porsche. The wing was installed after purchase by the PO. It shows up on the carfax, along with the repaint. I have it available if anyone wants to see it.

Not trying to rag... but are you sure those Turbo Twist wheels are the Hollow lightweight version?
Hollow version only came standard on Turbo, and by special order with a price on other 993 models.
If you want to check-
Backside of the Hollow Spokes are basically a mirror shape of the front, hence hollow in the center.
Standard cast Turbo Twist will have a casting 'indentation' on the backside of the spokes.
Also- part numbers stamped on the wheels are different, but I have no idea what they are.
Side Note but- I found a notable difference in 'torque' delivery and 'stopping' power when you reduce that rolling mass in the wheels, for sure worth some time on a track.
Downside- common to find them cracked.
Good luck with your sale.
