Additionally, Porsche Specialist van Zweeden has two RS sport seats, one is a shell and the other is cloth w/ carbon backing, for 250 EUR and 750 EUR respectively.
Not SPG's. The bracing design on the seat backs is different and I don't think there's a 'trampoline' suspension system under the bottom cushion on the std Recaro's.

Correct, they're different seats. you can get Pole Positions & SPG's all day, all night for a very reasonable price and they're great seats.
But they're not RS seats...

Ok, in terms of the backing you are correct, they aren't exactly the same as the RS seats, however, as a cheaper and abundant alternative they are almost exactly the same in terms of shape etc. If you really wanted the trampoline system you can buy it for $120 a side. A great alternative for those looking for this look w/out spending $5K+... Additionally this place has a couple 964 sets for sale

I was really wondering what ever happened to the car, if it sold. I wrote and asked the same question to the owner but did not receive a reply.

This 993 is coming to TX. Its taken almost a year to find 'my' perfect car but my patience has been rewarded. More details and pics to follow. Although not a regular Rennlister, Mark is a standup guy and a true enthusiast. If there is truth in the saying that you buy the owner as much as the car, then I consider this beauty very well bought. Probably time to pony up for my own RL membership as well.

The last year has been 'interesting' to say the least and perhaps typical with these cars, quite the roller-coaster ride. In the end though I think I have the car I was dreaming of.......

Congrats! Great looking car. You're so right about buying the owner as much as the car. I always try to buy from private parties and I give a lot of weight to the quality of the owner. Enjoy in good health.
