all ready...
mobile message board complete, rear window as shown, both rear door windows too, matching sign on back pack also. Maybe not the best $20 I have ever spent, but...nothing ventured, nothing gained.
I'll be staying at the Chocolate Town Motel...not the White Rose.
So, is anyone getting together in Hershey Friday night?
I'll be arriving between 6-7pm, I'll be looking for a place with a great beer selection, and good food-in that order.
Any suggestions?

I've already spent probably hundreds of hours on line looking, and dozens of hours talking with dealers on the phone. I imagine by now, damn near every hi-end dealer in I could find...has the same info.
Ideally, my car will come from a Rennlister...until then, I search far and wide.
This will be a great oppourtunity to see every color combo made. As well as both WB & NB with mod's, etc.
I just know it'll be a ooh, and ahhh festival on the highest order!

I honestly don't expect to find a car this weekend...at least not for sale in the lot. The hope is someone travelling to, or at the show...see's the sign, and write's down the number. I just printed up bussiness cards with the same info on it, just in case somebody notices the backpack sign and asks for my name and number.

well, that was a first for me...
buying parts for a vehicle I don't even own yet, that is... Considering that every time I see a listing for a "completely stock" 993-I keep adding $$ for suspension-this will aide in that department. And if the car I eventually get has HD's, PSS9's or 10's...you'll see these pieces posted up here on the cheap.
I got Bilstein HD's- LF, and both rears, as well as a Eibach Pro Lowering kit. Vendor didn't have any RF HD's. No matter, I paid less for all of the above, than Pelican gets for a single rear HD! The same guy had PSS9 kits for 997's for $1K. That's what drew me into the conversation-when he told some guy that pricetag for PSS9's. "any for a 993?"-I ask...no-but I got these HD's. This all took place at about 7:15am...I just got my first cup of coffee for christ sake.
The vendor section was really underwhelming-economy maybe? But the cars, oooh the cars. Saw lots of colors, many spoiler's, both NB&WB. Saw all the different wheel variations-MY02's, 996 twists, Sport Classic's, etc...
I chased down more than one 993 to inquire about the exhaust. Got to hear a Fister stage lll, very nice. Got to hear a Fabspeed, sounded nice, but -owner wished he didn't install it-he can't carry on a conversation with his kid in the backseat with it.
I even met about 5 Rl'ers...which one were you Mr. bonus? Talked 993's with lots of folks, learned lots too. I had a blast!
Had the omelete for breakfast-it was excellent, good coffee there too. Had the crabcake sandwhich for lunch-it was very good. Those crabcakes certainly give our local favorite, a run for the money. I plan on ordering some on-line, so my wife can try.
Anyway, gotta grab dinner, and a beer. I'll post up some car pictures under a new thread later tonite.
This event is a must do, maybe Porsche's of Oxford is next...
