If you want a mount that tucks in as tightly as possible then it's probably the BK universal mount with the quick release....not the cheapest set up out there but pretty slick. I'll try to take a pic sometime this week and post it.

I am in the same boat...trying to decide between BK chrome bar looking mount, Stable Energies, black triangular mount ($49) and Rennline's chrome mount.

I would like to find one that does not restrict seat travel forward and back.

BK limits seat travel. Stable Energies doesn't.

I believe that most extinguisher mounts can be installed so they do not limit seat travel if the are attached to the seat bracket (so that it moves with the seat) rather than mounted on the rails - I'm pretty sure the model specific BK ones do this. Mine is mounted on the drivers side as it is easier for me to reach down rather than reach across to the passenger floor esp if you are harnessed in or belted. Also even if tucked under the seat the extinguisher still protrudes a bit and passengers unfamiliar keep on getting snagged entering and exiting - actually if mounted on the passenger side it's probably better not to have it tucked in as much as it makes it more difficult to access..

I've heard from others that the SE one bounces up and down a bit and rattles your extinguisher. I don't know first hand, just what I've heard. I have the BK mount that limits forward seat movement a little, but since my kids are now grown, no need to ever move the seat that far forward.

I've heard the same thing about the SE mount and didn't want the limited seat travel of the BK, so I went with the Rennline mount. Nicely made and works well.

I have the BK-2030 FE Mount and BK-9030 Anti-Sub Strap Mount mounted to my euro GT3 seats in my 993 and can confirm it does not limit seat travel.
