3F and 5R with 17 inch wheels is very nice on my 964 for city driving. None the less, I now have them 6f and 8r, but this is pretty stiff for any bumpy road. I am lucky to live in a city/area with great roads.

Interested in hearing why for track/autocross equal is not ideal? I have always run full stiff but, if changing may make the car a little better I would love to hear about it!

For me it seems to under steer with equal settings. If I stiffen the rear a bit the car turns better especially autocrossing. But I'm not an expert by any means when it come to the track or autocross. Maybe some of the track experts on here could chime in.

When I had S-Car-Go install and set up mine, they set them at 6F/7R. They said it was to counter balance under steer (higher load in rear). I've since reset them downward twice to get them where I want them and have settled at 3F/4R for country roads and freeways badly in need of re-surfacing...

My mechanic set 6F / 7R for my C2S with 18" wheel. But I felt it was a little bit too stiff for daily driving in the city. So, I reset them to 4F / 5R. I am quite happy with it. What about the setting of the springs. He set the front at the max 140mm and the rear at 210mm. He said these setting will lower the body by 1".

I think as long as you stay in the max 140 - 210 compression of the spring resistance would be the same it's the settings for damping that make it stiffer or softer ride. Is this correct hence the word think. Hope someone with more experience will chime in. Also to raise car you go up on rear spring down on fronts again a question.
Thanks
