993 Repro Window Sticker- POST PICS IF YOU HAVE ONE PLEASE
When I purchased my car, even though it was a 1 owner car, the original sticker was lost in one
of the PO's many moves (he was in the Air Force I think).
I contacted PCNA about a reproduction window sticker, no dice. Purchased the COA, waste of
money. Searched here there and everywhere but only came up with more people like me that
wanted a copy of their sticker to no avail from Porsche.
After looking at many pictures of original window stickers I "found" a templete that used excel and acrobat.
***DISCLAIMER*** I did not post this to fool anyone into thinking it was an original sticker, it is setup on
8.5" x 11" paper to make it obviously a repro.
The point I am getting at is if anyone wants a copy of the excel file send me your email
address and I will forward it to you. Your options and prices will vary by year and vehicle. If you
look around you can find most of the prices and descriptions to fill in your own vehicle. I came up with
my info from tags & stamps in my service book, COA and receipts. It doesn't print well from excel so it helps
to have adobe distiller or some pdf creator and then print it as a pdf.
Hopefully this will help other people that just want a copy of the sticker for their records.
For best results download and install the dot matrix font here first: http://members.rennlist.com/andrewmolson/basicdots.zip
EDIT: To download the excel file click here: http://public.me.com/ilko
I also attached a pdf with some option prices to get you started.
If you have a 98 version reference post # 97

Hi Erik, I'll take a copy... I have the original window sticker so I'll compare it to that after it prints.
My e-mail address is attached to my account, so try that way. If you haven't used that option before let me know, and I'll send you a PM.

The 928 forum did this awhile back, I'm not sure whether the font changed on window stickers by the time the 993 arrived. Here's a window sticker that I made for my 928. I made mine look as close to the original as possible.
The dot matrix font used for the print to match the original was something called basicdots. Here's the download...

Only searched 993 forum, forgot about the "other" cars.
Thanks for the font, changes will be made I will see how it looks and probably need to resend it to those that already have it.
Thanks again.

Proper font HUGE IMPROVEMENT
Thanks to Matt P. BLITZ928. I updated this to the proper font and it looks much better. You may need to load the font first, click here.
To those that already got an email, look for another with the updated file (sorry).
If anyone else wants this please send a PM with your email address in it. Rennlist email doesn't allow attachements and I am afraid I will miss someone otherwise.
Enjoy and thaks again Matt.
