Techron in Salt Lake City
Hi Guys. I'll be in Salt Lake City for a week of skiing and would like to pick up some Techron somewhere close to the Hilton in the center of the city. Any recommendations? We can not buy it in Toronto. Thanks in advance.

Ronnie,
I'm not in Salt Lake City but I can tell you that any Checker Auto Parts will carry it and will probably be the best price. Chevron or Standard gas stations will also carry it but be more expensive.
My only question about this is how you will convince airport security that you're not a new version of the "Christmas Day underpants bomber".

Ya, Checker may be the best source. They're all over town. If you want to try something different give Garrity or Dave a call at Motor Sport, (801) 487-6733. They have oil, additives, cleaners, tires, turbos, tools, ... stacked to the ceiling. They used to be Porsche tuners but now I think they're having more fun (and maybe making more money) being the e-bay kings.

Be careful of the Techron you buy at Costco, its not the full fuel system cleaner but just the injector cleaner. Walmart carries it also, I'm sure you can find a Walmart nearby.

Plenty of coffee shops too. You can buy bongs, pipes, booze, and even smoke at the airport. No membership rules anymore. Utah isnt as backasswards as what the urban legend makes it out to be.

OK, give me the conventional wisdom on Techron. I use the injector cleaner in my DDs (Volvo SW and Acura RL) at oil changes (every 10K with synthetic). Is it better to use the system cleaner, and more to the point, do Porsche guys (and gals) use the system stuff? How often?

LubroMoly's Jectron and Ventil Sauber is another option:

I got mine shipped from Steve Weiner, not sure if he can ship such products to Canada though.
