Do they really leak like that when they go bad? I thought it was more of a dribble.

when they just leak they dribble..

When the IMS bearing fails... it is more than a dribble.

Well there's the Karmic payback I was waiting for after I lost 2 hours of my life watching that crapfest "The Happening", which, ironically, wasn't very happening at all

and many folks still deny there is a problem with these engines.

Yes, this oil slick is typical -- seen it many times sadly. The tow truck drivers get really pissed when pulling the car onto their flatbed, the angle of the car allows engine parts and a lot more oil to leak out, all over the bed.

Lucky to get both Tony Callas and Jake Raby to comment. I really want a 997 (to go with my 993) but will have to wait to see how the M97 engine fares. The M96 has got lots of issues........
