So this guy I know recently did an engine drop and when he put it back together, he topped off the PS fluid with Royal Purple PS fluid he had leftover from his previous car. "Compatible with all power steering systems," or so the bottles say. Not quite a pint was used. Should he be worried?
Travis, tell that guy since one liter of 202 is fairly cheap, to go ahead and flush out the rack for peace of mind. Most PS fluid bottles say they're compatible but I wouldn't risk it.
Alex, I thought it's over-kill flushing with 2 liters but I guess 3 is better
I don't know why I ended up with 3 liters. It could be that I didn't see a quantity in the Porsche repair Manual, and I hate being short on something in the middle of a job.

Right...well, the RP in comparison is not cheap, and I've got quite a bit of it still on my shelf. Well, not enough to make returning worthwhile (got it mail order). But I've got enough to irritate me that I can't use it.
