He buys this thing, plays U-Boat captain (ala Risky Business), collects the insurance......probably more than he initially paid (?), takes the salvage back, repairs it, and............."washes" the title or sends it overseas?

The guy claims that a pelican distracted him...howver it was caught on camera and there was no pelican in sight...

at what speed does the rear spoiler raise? Somewhere around 130 mph?
Not totally familiar with the Veyron's details but
hmmm....

It is programmed to raise if you hit a large body of water...

I think it deploys if you select "handling" mode and can be manually raised just like the 993s. It's actually only raised slightly at top speed IIRC.

Not enough talent to stay out of the lagoon. Exit/On ramps must be a real challenge.
