Diggable, as delivered by Porsche: matching hard-back sports seats, parcel shelf/ rear seat delete, carbon fiber & aluminum, contrasting Guards Red seat belts, + more goodies.

GulfBlau code #3B4

I'm not sure about that.. I saw one at Monterey back in 98 (actually it was in the Porsche display @ Quail Lodge) Concours Italiano, had the hard back sports seats,a roll bar, and a stripe in Gulf orange. I was told it was ordered in Gulf Blue, and the owner had a local rod shop do the orange accent.

Oh, and thanks for posting the pic & link of the Rivi Blu Suburban! I love those vintage burbans.. especially with the right updates.

Appreciate the info! Fascinating. Any pix? I was told the above was the only WB 993 in Gulf Blue, that had certificate signed by Professor Porsche, & that it was air-shipped to the USA upon completion.
This is potentially in line with Nurburger's recent comment where he posted what appears to be the same C4S.

+1!

Anybody think Porsche should feature Mike's color for the roll-out of their newest Turbo (997.5)?
Anybody think his looks better?

Slightly OT, but related:

Porsche AG using another blue to sell their newest Turbo...

I am TOTALLY biased, but Riviera Blue is the $hit. Watch it become a popular color in the 997 series. I wonder how many examples of the 993 were done in Rivi Blue. People (even 997 owners) ask me if I did a color change.

Porsche becomes so smitten by the Smurfmobile's awesomeness that they:
- create a secret time machine, &
- go back in time... before 993s, even before blue Jelly Belly jelly beans! , &
- perform a color change

No need to go back, BTDT. Speedster Blau, 1954/55, Reutter no. 602 Enamel, the original Smurfmobile. This is the rarest of the rare. Look at the Carrera emblem under Porsche on the tail. 4 cam.

JPP-- Good eye. Another blue rarity, painted thanks to the German's secret time machine ...
While we love the silver in which we usually see this car painted, the light blue really makes it stand out. Just 70 examples were produced, making it one of the most valuable Porsches, as well. Power comes from a 1.5L air-cooled aluminum flat-4
