In case some of you real "Road-Racers" wan to take part in a Targa Road Race, like Targa Tasmania or Targa Newfoundland, there is a new Targa type road race planned of British Columbia, Canada in 2010, here is the link to their website:

Have driven most of those spectacular roads a few times. Was ready to sign up but reg fee $3900-$4900 and competition license makes it a no go.

+1. These are spectacular roads and I actually get to drive many of them on a regular basis. Unfortunately mostly in an 80,000lb, 5-axle Petercar.........not quite the same as a 993. I really hope this event succeeds.

The road from Golden to Kickinghorse ski area would be excellent for a hill climb.
