Craig!
Very cool!

I've been out of town on vacation for a bit... can't wait to get back home tomorrow to my Total 911 issue to see this first hand.
Congrats on getting "published"

Hi guys

The price is out of our hands - partly shipping costs, partly exchange rate, and partly US sales tax. Glad you like the magazine, though.

Craig, maths (or math to you ) teachers have a reputation for dodgy dress sense. Peter Tong? He's a DJ, where's the reference to him?

Cheers

Phil

Phil, great magazine! I am fortunate enough to have a Barnes & Noble nearby which carries it.

From Mr. Flinkenberg's letter, "It’s the 993s fault that modern Porsche’s lost the raised headlamps and it’s all gone a bit Pete Tong from there."

I assume he is a "fashion or trend setter" who's taste is a bit suspect?

cheers

Craig

Cool article. Craig, I hope you have framed the write-up/pages for your wall.

Cockney Rhyming Slang is something most Americans will never get, myself included. After about 6 months of hearing my father-in-law (who is from England) say "up the apples" to my kids when it was bed time, I finally asked him why he refered to the stairs as apples. He replied, "simple. apples, pairs = stairs". I've known the man for 9 years now, and I still have trouble trying to figure out what he means sometimes !!!

Don't worry, most people over here don't get it, either.

Jeff,

It's "Apples and Pears = Stairs". Pears as in fruit, not pairs as in two of! I've probably confused you even more. Us Brits make it up as we get along!

But have you ever met an Englishman who really does speak like that?
