Thjs is my first post, and I just bought a 1995 993 which will be delivered next week. Pics to follow.

I used this link to help me find it ...

http://www.themccumbers.com/States.html

The link allows one to search in multiple cities within a state.

somebody posted www.crazedlist.org, but i couldn't get it to work...said I needed a Firefly or Mozilla browser.

as mentioned above. www.crazedlist.org was paramount in finding my new 993' I am using firefox. There is an advanced setting you need to tweak but crazedlist tells you what you need to do.

I just did it by going to each state and then selecting the city/area. A real pain in the kiester for sure.

I have used http://www.searchtempest.com/ with very good results. Good luck.

Do any of these sites alert you when a desired item pops up? Maybe I missed the feature.

The following tip came via my local email list (note the BMW-ness of the example) doing a more specific search within Craigslist:

"In CL searches, you can search for multiple terms, like this: bmw (330|330i|"manual wagon"). This will combine the results of 3 searches (without creating duplicates): bmw 330, bmw 330i, bmw manual wagon."

I have not tried it yet.

Enter this in Google:

Porsche 993 site:craigslist.org

and it limits the search to All Craigslists, or whatever domain you want...

Good one but is there a way to filter for cars only?
