I just emailed my friend who has inlaws down there to see when they are going again. They take a full sized Chevy so space wouldn't be a problem.

Jack,
I am interested in the wing. Connor has been on me to install RS correct wing and front bumper. My 993(Classed as RS) is for sale and this would be a nice addition. Are you really heading to the "dark" side?
David

Hey, David,
Well, I've sort of already entered the dark side (see my sig), but I've had several Corvettes in the past. The 505 HP, 3100 lb. Z06 is a very intoxicating ride and my buddy who owns it is nearly as OCD as I am regarding its care and feeding. The downside of the Z06 is that doesn't have the 993's go-kart reflexes on the street which I would miss. My buddy and I are working on a possible trade deal + cash, but he is on the verge of losing his business so that may not happen and if so I may advertise the 993 locally. But the 993 market isn't what it was a year ago, I have a ton of $$ invested in it and as they say down here in the deep South, "I ain't givin' it away!"
In any event, if you are interested in the lid and wing, let me know. You are close enough that I could bring it to your shop in my pickup.
Oh, and here is my current "dark side" ride, a numbers matching 1965 coupe, 365 HP, close ratio four speed, 3.70 Positraction, etc.,etc. ...yes, I just hijacked my own thread!
Tell Connor I said hi, and that I applaud his excellent taste.

Thanks for the kind words, Chuck and Chris...totally unexpected in a Porsche forum regarding one of those unloved plastic cars.
Mine's Nassau Blue with a blue interior. Marina Blue came out in '67 and is a bit darker and brighter.

Jack, Very nice I'm a car guy so any sweet lookin vette like yours is awesome. I love the older muscle cars. Even the newer ones are nice.... Like the Z06 or ZR1.
