Catus, You still haven't purchased the tail yet! This should be a no brainer especailly if you don't to repaint. I'm sure Jack had it painted correctly too. Plug an Play man....Plug an Play!

As the original owner of this RS wing, I can personally vouch for the fit and finish. It was on my car for over a year, but I had the chance to get the full factory OEM RS Aerokit at a good price. I sold the wing to Jack late last year, but to be honest, I could not tell the difference once the OEM wing was installed. Save the extra $2K and get the wing +decklid from Jack! You won't be sorry, best of luck with the sale Jack......Paul

I may buy it and mount it on the garage wall - so you can look at it every time you come down and kick yourself for not just getting it handled!!!

OT - can these be removed from the deck? I am thinking of getting one and since my car is arena red and I dont live in atl, I would have to buy a new one. I would like to be able to put the car back to relative stock if I ever sold though.

Yes, it's a simple bolt-on to the deck lid, easy to return to stock any time you like.

Well, I just received a call from a good friend who is in financial straits at the moment. He offered me his 2,000 mile, pristine '08 Z06 for an unbelieveably good price, so I may be selling my 993 or making a trade with him. Since a prospective purchaser might not want a ducktail, it may be prudent for me to hang onto the original lid until I see what transpires. I'll resurrect this thread if the deal falls through.

Jack,

If you end up with just the ducktail, I could take it off your hands.
