Livinginparis,

As you may know these mods were not done in 1 time but they took almost 5 years

Here is what make the car look like it is now.

Fvd 340mm steering wheel
Full RS carpet
Stripped front trunk
Rennline race mat
Alu gauge bezels
Alu handbrake + RS shifter
RS doors in black leather with silver strap

Exterior:

Turbo nose
Turbo S scoops
3 piece RH wheels
PSS9 suspension
White blinkers
Big ovals
Sunroof delete
Rear wiper delete
Yellow brakes

Engine:

3.8 engine
Cat bypass

As others have said, take your time. Doing everything all at once is expensive and, IMO, far less satisfying than a slow evolution. Every mod completed, no matter how subtle, changes your car and it's "personality." Enjoy the ride down the slope.

The main reason why I have my car already more than 6 years is that you can change little things and the car feels or looks different again.

The only problem is that you're never done with finding stuff to change

I'm considering recovering the dash and tunnel in black leather with silver stitching like my seats.

Enjoy the slope!

In all seriousness, if you are good a scouring Ebay and the for sale ads here and elsewhere, you can pick up most of the parts for less money (not the wheels though). You can then start assembling the parts. I was lucky and picked up both the Turbo wing and the turbo bumper in Guards Red, so I saved a lot of money on paint and such.
Same with the suspension. $5000.00 is much too much IMO. You can buy it and get it installed for around $3K or do the whole thing for less depending on how mechanical you are.
In any event, welcome to the madness and the slippery slope and post pics please.

Take care
True, but what are the chances you can find the color you want and hopefully nobody bid on it! I have been looking at a Turbo S OEM wing for my car, and last one went on eBay for ~$2,100! Wow! This is consider a new one goes for $3,400-$3,500. So much to trying to get a bargain.

I agree, the slope is slippery. As the previous post states, 1. money 2. time and 3. Patience (if you want wait for awhile, you can reduce #1 and #2). Good luck on your search.

Reminds me of the time I thought my first girl friend was the hottest girl in the world. She certainly was the hottest thing in my neighborhood. We got along great. One day, I took her to a dance in her town and I might as well had gone with her brother! That's how stiff the competition was where she was from I couldn't get the bevy of beauties out of my mind when I looked at her. I broke up with one of the sweetest nicest girls I ever met. Moral: if you start looking around at some of the cars on here, you might end up turning your nose up at what you have. That's how stiff the competition is around here Each one is unique and deserve to be appreciated for what they bring to the table. Make it what you want it to be, and how YOU want it to be, and you'll be happier! JMO.

Words of wisdom. They are all the same basic car but can be individualized to one's own taste. The possibilities are endless.......at least as long as your bank account lasts.
