Porsche Museum - Pictures
Hi all,
I turned 40 a little while ago and to celebrate that occasion, my dear parents thought, I might appreciate a course with Porsche Sport Driving School as a birthday present.
Would I? Does Dolly Parton sleep on her back??
I was soon signed up for two days of Precision Training in Baden-Baden, in southern Germany, and spent the weeks before counting the days... even the hours
As Stuttgart is only 1.5 hours' drive from Baden-Baden, the idea of a True Porsche Trip quickly began to simmer in the back of my head.
With the unfailing helpfulness from Sabine, the organiser of Porsche Sport Driving School, I was quickly signed up for a factory visit and could look forward to a full day in the Porsche Museum.
It was an absolute blast!
Visiting the factory, to see how carefully our cars are built, before diving into the incredible heritage of achievement and excellence in the Museum, is something I can highly recommend.
To complete the ultimate Porsche experience, two great days in Baden-Baden followed, where I got to know and love my car even more than before, in the company of a great bunch Porsche enthusiasts and an amazing team of Porsche employees.
I thought you guys might want to have a peek....
Take care,
Jens

+1 Congrats on Forty. I think I'm wearing a tie that old but it's still an important milestone for you.
More importantly, congratulations on getting to tour the Porsche Museum. Thank you for sharing your great photos of some beautiful cars with us. Very, very cool.

Awh - just what I needed - great pics. I had to cancel my USA/European trip becuase of Swine flu. I had myself booked into the factory tour, co-pilot, and lunch on the 16th of June. No doubt - would have been da bomb. A must do next year.
Congrats on reaching 40 years young - and thanks for the pics.
Cheers
