Thanks for the list! (Poughkeepsie!!!?? Nah!)
Doc
There are plenty of major hotels and motels in Danbury CT which is only 30-45 minutes away from Limerock depending on who's driving! We will be attending the Rhinebeck ride on Sunday but still up in the air for this one.Ed

Default THIS IN TODAY FROM LIME ROCK. . .

Hi Kim – thanks for contacting Lime Rock Park!
I am responding to your phone message and I hope that you are having a great time in Alaska!

Lime Rock Park will once again be offering Car Corrals on both Friday and Saturday for Porsche owners.
The Corral includes premium parking in the infield as well as a parade lap on Saturday for the first 50 cars to arrive and sign-up.

P-car owners may purchase general admission tickets that include the car corral – Friday $30; Saturday $65; weekend – both days in the corral $80.00.
These prices are good until 10 July at 5 PM....then we will be going to our gate pricing.
Corral tickets will not be available at the gate, but general admission tickets are always available at Lime Rock Park and remember – kids 12 and under are FREE!

Please feel free to give me a call if you need any additional information....I am happy to answer questions individually for club members too!

See you at the track!

Guys,

I was informed of a coupon code that can be used for the "General Admission" tix (not the Porsche Corral). You save $12...from $60-->$48.

Coupon Code: FOH2009

Thanks Garth!

I'd be interested. Great event and worthwhile cause.

Will bring either a 997TT or a 599.

Let's hope for nice weather!

I will be there but I may or may not attend the drive depending on the meeting location.

I'm thinking of a meeting place off the Palisades Parkway near the Bear Mountain bridge. I'll be scoping it out this weekend and post before Sun night.

I'm not far from LR, so I'll probably meet y'all @ the corral or thereabouts...
Hopefully, it'll actually be summer by then, too.

Hey guys,

Bob scoped out a route and meeting spot for us all this weekend.

In an effort to avoid the long lines entering Lime Rock on race day we have decided to meet earlier (6:45am) and hope to arrive at LRP by 8:30.

New Meeting Time: 6:45am (leave by 7:15am sharp)
Meeting Location:
Anythony Wayne Rec Area (Large Parking lot)
Palisades Interstate Parkway Exit 17
Bear Mountain, NY 10911
Satellite Map: [CLICK HERE]

Default AT THE RISK OF BEING REDUNDANT, 'AGAIN'. . .

Just a couple of reminders -

Ear protection (the medical things first!);

Foot protection -- in order to participate in the Pre-Race Fan Activities ON THE GRID, you need to wear closed toe shoes; and

Are you considering radios for your caravan, to help coordinate stops, etc?

Arrwin, if you think to give a call when your ETA is known, it might facilitate pics, etc.

Safe Travels!

Kim
