I am flying out to Irvine CA tomorrow from MS to pick up a 993. I really need to get on the road friday night if possible or early sat morning, but I want to at least get the vehicle up on a lift to inspect and if I have time do a compression test. I know its short notice but is there anyone near the area with a lift or shop that I could use. Call me or pm me.

I would, but my plane gets in around 6 at LAX and I need to get on the road asap for a 26 hour drive. Thanks though.

You might want to check with Frank Hanrahan at Haus of Performance in Costa Mesa. 714-545-2755.

He's right (literally) next to the airport runway. He runs a shop, but is a laid-back nice guy and might be willing to let you in for a nominal fee of some kind, or maybe even free if he has the space/time.

Truspeed is down that way, probably $$ to do a PPI.

If you want to bring the car up to Lomita (about an hour north of Irvine) , Derick (Lomita 911, 310-534-3631) can do a PPI. Be happy to meet you there.
