Default 993TT wheel fitment on a C2

Will the 993TT Hollow Spoke Turbo wheels fit my C2? It looks like there are two separate part numbers for those wheels, anyone know the distinction? (aside from the obvious weight and offset differences?)

993.362.140.00 (offset = 40)

993.362.140.01 (offset = 65)

I'm a bit lower than US spec on RoW M030 + Bilstein HD's. Given that the 10"x18" solid spoke Turbo/RS wheels are offset = 65, I would think the 993.362.140.01 (also offset 65) would work on the C2. But I don't know for sure. Thanks.

I haven't researched this but my understanding is no as the rear offsets would be wrong. Here was a quick search result:

993.362.140.01 (offset = 65) is correct for the back of a n/b, when they used them, on w/b they also used a 25mm spacer. 10 ET65 is going to be great at any ride height

993.362.140.00 (offset = 40) correct for the back of a w/b w/o spacers

Thanks Bill. Funny enough that I had come to the same conclusion last night, more or less, based on the "Wheels" webpage you have linked in your sig... I saw it in your post to the following thread:

Interesting that the hollow-spokes are about the same weight as the MY'02s, same offsets as well for the rears.

What are the weights on Speedlines? Any caveats with the following on a C2?

http://forums.pelicanparts.com/showthread.php?t=465221

(I notice that particular seller mentions "Speedline Style" and "Made in Japan" -- In the case of the Speedlines, are those terms synonymous with aftermarket i.e., Alessio? Yes, I did see your recent comment in the other Speedline f/s thread there.) [http://forums.pelicanparts.com/showthread.php?t=463496]

The MY02 5 spokes I have weigh 20.5/22.7# hollows w/ n/b o/s weigh 19.5/23.4, oem RS Speedlines 25/26.5(they're heavy but so dam* nice!!)

There are all sorts of SPeedline replicas, I really don't know too much about them except that most have funky ETs which can be problamatic to fit, the lower the car the closer to stock ET & width you will want.

The 965 Speedlines in that ad are likely aftermarkets(I'm not 100% sure either way) the oems came in a couple of versions, the 8ET52 & 10 ET61 versions fit a n/b 993 like a glove.
